Matt’s career as a Naturopath began with the desire to study and work in the fitness industry. It was while working with clients in fitness centres that Matt realised a noticeable variance in performance and recovery from individuals. It was from these situations that Matt developed a greater interest in Nutrition and the value of herbal medicine. In 2000 Matt graduated in Naturopathy from Australian College of Natural Medicine.
Matt began working with business partner Marilyn Lemaire during his years of study where he worked and later practiced from Sunnybank Health Foods which was owned and operated by Marilyn.
With a passion for food and organic growing methods Matt began working towards the organic food concept. It is at this stage where his goal to own and operate an organic health food centre that focused on clinical practice was nurtured.
As a founder and business partner of Vive, Matt spent almost 2 years planning and designing the Vive concept with Marilyn. Vive opened in August 2005.
Keeping an interest in sport and exercise has continued as an important part of Matt’s life. Interest in fitness and exercise from a Nutritional and Herbal aspect is his true passion Being able to help clients gain that little bit extra from their training…and to live a longer healther life is his main clinical aim.

The prevention of poor health through great nutrition and necessary supplements is one of Marilyn’s main interests. Helping individuals cope with stress and prescribing herbs that are effective in supporting a person through stressful times is another area that inspires Marilyn.
Marilyn is the mother of a young adult who has been gluten intolerant for the past 4 years so along the way she has learnt how to pack those school lunches and how to feed teenage groups gluten free food that tastes superb.

Mick's areas of special interest include:
Remedial Massage
Trigger Point Therapy
